Pan-African women-focused wealth platform FinTribe has launched a new mobile application designed to bring savings, investment tracking, financial education and community-based wealth building into a single digital platform.
The app, now available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, is structured around four core pillars save, learn, invest and community as FinTribe seeks to make financial management more accessible to women across Africa and beyond.
Four Pillars Power the New Platform
The application combines several financial-management tools, including automated savings, investment tracking and instant requests for documents such as account statements, embassy letters and reference letters.
Users can also access financial-literacy materials through FinTribe’s Wealth Builders Academy, alongside live community and Tribe rooms that are designed to encourage interaction and accountability among members.
The platform’s community model is built around the Tribe System, which enables women with similar savings levels and financial objectives to connect, share progress and encourage one another.
FinTribe says the approach is intended to address the isolation that can sometimes accompany personal financial planning by giving members a network of peers pursuing similar goals.
Leadership Brings Finance and Technology Experience
The development of the platform is backed by a leadership team with experience spanning financial services, capital markets and technology.
Dr Ayodeji Ebo, FinTribe’s strategy and financial planning director, brings more than two decades of experience in capital markets and fintech.
Ebo previously built PlutusNeo by Afrinvest from inception to almost 500,000 users. He also holds a PhD in Energy Finance and is a Fellow of ACCA UK and CIS.
Founder: Women Should Not Build Wealth Alone
FinTribe Founder and CEO Jennifer Awirigwe said the application was developed around the belief that women should have access to both financial tools and a supportive community as they work towards their goals.
She said seeing other women consistently save, invest and make progress can help strengthen confidence and demonstrate what is financially achievable.
The company’s approach therefore combines digital financial tools with peer engagement, rather than positioning the application simply as another savings or investment platform.
Simplifying Everyday Money Management
FinTribe’s Head of Marketing, Sandra Adebayo, said the company sought to consolidate key aspects of the financial journey into one experience.
According to her, the application allows users to move between saving, investment monitoring, accessing important documents and engaging with their communities within the same platform.
The broader objective, she said, is to make it easier for women to take regular steps towards their financial objectives.
Building on Existing Financial Education Programmes
The application expands on FinTribe’s existing initiatives, including its Wealth Builders Academy, Finance Fair, campus outreach programmes and partnerships focused on improving women’s access to financial education and capital-market knowledge.
The company is now extending that community-driven model through its digital platform, potentially allowing it to reach a larger audience beyond its existing physical and educational programmes.
More Than 20,000 Members Across 43 Countries
FinTribe currently serves more than 20,000 active members across 43 countries, according to the company.
Its positioning goes beyond savings, with the platform seeking to equip women with financial knowledge, investment tools and a network through which they can pursue wealth-building goals.
With the launch of the mobile app, FinTribe is betting that combining financial education, digital tools and community accountability can encourage more women to take an active role in managing and growing their finances.
