Media and communications company CT Productions is set to launch FOCUS Insights in Nigeria, a new research and market-intelligence platform designed to provide businesses, investors and policymakers with data-driven analysis of the forces shaping the country’s economy and other emerging markets.
The initiative marks a new phase for the company’s FOCUS platform and coincides with its 10th anniversary of international operations.
FOCUS Insights will bring together original research, market analysis, white papers, interviews with business leaders and policymakers, sector-focused reports and curated editorial roundtables.
Rather than examining individual industries in isolation, the platform will explore the connections between policy, investment, business and communities, with the aim of giving decision-makers a broader understanding of economic developments.
Nigeria to Lead FOCUS Insights Expansion
Nigeria has been selected as the first market for the new initiative, with FOCUS Insights Nigeria: The Next Horizon scheduled for launch later in 2026.
The publication will examine the Nigerian economy at what CT Productions describes as an important period of reforms, changing investment flows and shifting sectoral opportunities.
Its coverage will span key areas including energy and power, fintech and the digital economy, agriculture and food security, infrastructure and logistics, manufacturing and trade, governance and public policy.
The Nigeria edition will also feature a proprietary Nigeria Outlook Index, alongside contributions from senior executives, investors, entrepreneurs and policymakers.
A curated editorial roundtable in Lagos will bring public- and private-sector stakeholders together to discuss the country’s economic outlook, with insights from the discussion incorporated into the publication.
Building on Eight Years of FOCUS
According to CT Productions, FOCUS Insights builds on the company’s experience producing its FOCUS platform, which has spent the past eight years examining markets, industries, investments and leadership across Africa and Europe.
The company said its decade of operations and relationships with international media and intelligence organisations have helped shape the new research-focused initiative.
For five years, CT Productions served as the licensed Nigerian publisher of The World Ahead, the annual publication from The Economist that examines major trends expected to shape the year ahead.
It also hosted events featuring research and analysis from the Economist Intelligence Unit, bringing together senior executives, investors and policymakers to discuss emerging economic trends.
CT Productions said these experiences demonstrated the demand for research that combines reliable data with the perspectives of people directly involved in shaping markets.
Beyond Numbers and Headlines
Founder and Managing Director of CT Productions, Camelia Oros Tsarouchis, said FOCUS Insights reflects lessons accumulated through the company’s work across different markets.
She said the platform is intended to go beyond conventional economic reporting by examining the people making decisions, the ecosystems linking different industries and the ideas that could influence future growth.
Tsarouchis explained that Nigeria was chosen as the first market because of its importance to CT Productions’ development and its position as one of Africa’s most dynamic economies.
The company wants its analysis to combine data, expert perspectives, practical experience and the human dimension of economic change.

The launch is also expected to form part of CT Productions’ wider effort to connect businesses and markets across Africa and Europe.
Following the Nigeria edition, the company plans to introduce FOCUS Insights in selected markets across the two regions, building on its existing presence and partnerships.
