When Wole Olusola transitioned his GraceLife Church entirely online in December 2020, few anticipated the global reach it would achieve. Today, his signature GraceLife Discipleship Program (GDP) – a 35-week certification course structured across six modules – has graduated cohorts spanning four continents, with its sixth cycle launching this October.
Olusola, a linguistics graduate and former investment banking executive, has blended pedagogical structure with digital ministry. “The GDP isn’t streaming sermons; it’s interactive theological education,” explains religious studies scholar Prof. Chioma Nwachukwu of UNILAG. “Its modular design – Foundations, Identity, Purpose, Community, Legacy, and Integration – mirrors academic curricula while accommodating working professionals.”
