Global mobility platform Bolt has integrated its ride-hailing service with ChatGPT, allowing users to search for rides, compare fare estimates and begin the booking process directly within the artificial intelligence assistant.
The move positions Bolt among the first ride-hailing platforms to embed its services into a conversational AI interface, reflecting a growing shift toward AI-powered digital experiences that reduce the need for users to switch between multiple applications.
Booking Rides Through Conversation
With the new integration, ChatGPT users can request a Bolt ride while interacting with the AI assistant. They can receive upfront fare estimates, review available route options, check estimated driver arrival times and coordinate pickup locations without leaving the conversation.
To complete a trip, users must connect their Bolt account. Payments are still finalised through the Bolt app, although the company said it is working toward enabling in-chat payment capabilities in a future update.

Bolt said the feature is being introduced across its global markets, with the initial rollout covering countries including the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
