PalmPay has launched a new customer-focused campaign, “PalmPay Dey For You,” aimed at strengthening user confidence in the safety of its digital financial services amid growing attention around security and reliability in Nigeria’s fintech sector.
The campaign is designed to educate customers about the protection mechanisms available on the PalmPay platform while highlighting the company’s efforts to provide secure and accessible financial services to millions of Nigerians.

At the heart of the campaign is PalmPay’s Security Center, which brings together tools intended to give customers greater control over their accounts and transactions.
One of the features highlighted by the company is Location Guard, which enables users to designate up to six trusted locations. The feature provides an additional layer of protection by flagging or restricting activity associated with unexpected locations.
PalmPay is also promoting NightGuard, a security feature that offers additional protection during selected periods, alongside other security controls accessible within the app.
The company said the tools are part of a broader approach to incorporating security into the customer experience rather than relying solely on intervention after suspicious activity has occurred.
Quick Response Options for Lost Phones and Cards
PalmPay has also highlighted measures designed to help customers respond quickly when they lose access to their phones or cards.
Customers can lock their PalmPay accounts by dialling *861*12#, while cards can be locked using *861*7*5#.
The company has additionally introduced a dedicated Dispute Page, allowing customers to submit and track transaction-related disputes directly through the application.
These features are intended to reduce the time customers spend seeking assistance when dealing with account-access or transaction problems.
Campaign Focuses on Customer Education
Beyond the technology itself, “PalmPay Dey For You” will use educational materials to improve customers’ understanding of fraud prevention and account security.
PalmPay said the campaign will include FAQs, customer forums, educational content and product-led communication, covering practical steps users can take to protect their accounts and recognise potential fraud risks.
The company is positioning the initiative around the idea that convenience and security should operate together as digital financial services become increasingly embedded in Nigerians’ everyday transactions.
PalmPay Emphasises Regulatory Oversight
PalmPay said it is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), while eligible customer deposits are insured by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).
The fintech provides services including money transfers, bill payments, savings and other financial products to its growing customer base.
