Fidelity Bank Plc has secured approval from the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) to extend the deadline for filing its audited financial statements for the half-year ended June 30, 2026, to September 30, 2026.
The extension was disclosed in a notice dated August 21, 2026, and signed by the bank’s Company Secretary, Ezinwa Unuigboje. Fidelity Bank said the extension became necessary because the audit of its H1 2026 financial statements is still being finalised.
NGX Grants Additional Time
Fidelity Bank said it had informed the Exchange and other stakeholders of a potential delay in publishing its audited half-year results in line with NGX listing requirements.
Following the request, NGX approved an extension of the filing deadline to September 30, 2026.
However, the approval is subject to the bank obtaining the necessary regulatory approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for its audited H1 accounts.
