Access Holdings Plc has approved its audited financial statements for the first half of 2026, bringing the financial services group closer to releasing its latest performance figures to investors and the Nigerian capital market.
The company’s Board of Directors approved the Audited Interim Consolidated and Separate Financial Statements for the six months ended June 30, 2026, at a meeting held on August 27.
The approval represents an important stage in the group’s financial reporting process, although the results are not yet available to the public.
The statements must now pass through the required regulatory process, including review and approval by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), before Access Holdings can formally publish them.
CBN Approval Comes Before NGX Release
Access Holdings said it will release the audited H1 results through the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) after receiving the CBN’s approval.
The financial statements will also be made available to shareholders, investors and other stakeholders through the group’s established communication channels.
The company did not disclose revenue, profit, assets or other financial performance figures in its latest notice.
Consequently, investors will have to wait for the formal publication of the audited accounts for a detailed picture of how the group performed during the first six months of 2026.
The forthcoming results are expected to provide the market with fresh insight into the performance of Access Holdings’ banking and wider financial-services operations across Africa and its international markets.
Closed Period Remains in Force
Access Holdings also confirmed that it remains in a closed period in accordance with the NGX Issuers’ Rules.
The restriction will remain in place until 24 hours after the audited financial statements are released to the public.
During the closed period, directors, insiders and their connected persons are prohibited from dealing, either directly or indirectly, in Access Holdings securities.
The restriction is intended to prevent insiders from trading on potentially price-sensitive information before the company’s financial performance becomes available to the wider market.
Results Could Provide Fresh Investor Signals
The approval comes as investors continue to monitor the performance of major Nigerian financial institutions following the sector’s recent recapitalisation and broader expansion drive.
